Are you an inspiring Christian music artist? Is your son or daughter? One of your friends? Well why don’t you send them over to Camp Electric? Camp Electric is a camp where teenagers will be able to learn and grow both musically and spiritually with some of the biggest names in Christian music. Artists and speakers for this year include Kutless, Thousand Foot Krutch, Sanctus Real, The Museum, and Winner of 2010’s Rock the Camp and new INO recording artist, Cloverton.
Who will they be learning from? Well for Bass players we have guys like ToddleFunk from tobyMac and Diverse City, Rich Gillard of Pillar, and Jeremy McCoy of the Fray. On Drums we have guys like Bryan Haley who like ToddleFunk is from tobyMac and Diverse City, Duncan Philips of Newsboys, former Skillet drummer Lori Peters, and Mark Graalman of Sanctus Real. On the guitar they’ll meet people like Barry Graul of MercyMe who has performed with several bands in the past 18 years of his career including tobyMac, Audio Adrenaline, Sonicflood, dcTalk, Tait and more. They’ll also meet Mike Payne from Matthew West’s band, Brandon Mills and Chris Clonts of Decyfer Down, and more. On the keyboard we have Sam Katina of the Katinas and Dave Wyatt of tobyMac among a few others.
B. Reith, Matt Hammit, Rachael Lampa, Rob Beckley, Trevor McNevan. These are just a few of the outstanding artists who will be helping those singers who attend Camp Electric. Attendees will be learning from the very best, and will benefit greatly from this. Needless to say that this could be one of those once in a lifetime opportunities for you or your friend.
To sign up is about $750 up front per person attending, or you can arrange a payment plan which comes with a $35 convenience fee. Currently there are no scholarships available, although if you talk to someone in your Church or community you might be able to start one in your area. Another way to go is to enter in the contest being held by K-LOVE radio. Simply go and enter the entry form saying why you think you or the person you’re nominating deserves to win. One winner will be awarded a trip for two to Camp Electric! You can find the entry form along with the other contest details by clicking here. Good luck to all who enter!

About Camp Electric
Camp Electric’s purpose is to provide the highest quality worship and rock & roll music camp period. Having the very best instructors from the top Christian bands that teach young musicians, not only in the field of music but also ministry is our top priority. Our purpose is not to just entertain, but rather to encourage and engage! At Camp Electric we want to encourage and inspire you to be a better musician and follower of Jesus. You will be learning great things from your instructors each day, but do not expect to come back home after a week and play like a pro. We want to equip you with the tools to practice after you leave. Only doing this will actually make you a better player. Do not expect to come home with a record deal. You may learn a few things about this, but we’re not connecting you with managers and agents, and you will not be competing with other students. It is important that each student comes with a willingness to learn and not a “what can these guys possibly teach ME?” attitude.
